The 2017 Untu Hideout was the event held for April Camp NaNoWriMo 2017.
A new area, the Untu Hideout was available.
This event made use of "recipes" which dust warriors received from quests. When the Untu Store opened, these recipes could be traded for their matching wardrobe item. No other items were required to get the wardrobe item besides the recipe.

Community Challenge: Destroy Untu Hideout Defenses
- April 1st-5th
- Dust Warriors had to write a combined 2,000,000 words
- Untu Hideout area unlocked
Untu Market open
- available April 11th from 12:01 AM-11:59 PM
- It was possible to sell items, to craft the Untu quest items into their full objects, and to open chests for 20 coins each.
Community Challenge: Destroy the Cave Door
- April 15th-17th
- Dust Warriors had to write a combined 800,000 words inside the Untu Hideout.
Community Challenge: Attack on Untu Golem
- April 24th-May 2nd
- Dust Warriors had to battle the Untu Golem, writing a combined total of 1,500,000 words against the monster
- A new quest: "Attack on Untu Golem" was added with this challenge.
