Aakulta is a monster found in the City of Light. It is available after City of Light main quest 10: A Light Patrol.

When I first saw an Aakulta, I thought it was an Arenica that had gotten lost. After observing the creature a little bit longer, I think they may have come from a common ancestor. The colors are different of course, and "jeweled wings" have all been painted gold, but I can't ignore the fact that both of them prefer to swoop down on their prey, that they make a single call when the prey has been spotted, and that the underneath of an Aakulta's body is the same color as the back of an Arenica. And they both wear necklaces!
