Chilled winds swept along the street, gathering bits and bobs of confetti and a yellow ribbon of magic. I watched as the paper started yelling out a challenge. Something about how "the pen's mightier than the sword." (I disagree for the moment, especially since I'm the one holding at least one sharp weapon.) I briefly wished that at least one of my weapons were fire based... but putting up with the sharp, acidic smell of smoke probably wasn't worth it. All I know is that I don't want to take a hammer or mace to it, since paper beats rock.
