Awa is a creature available in Luciola Forest. It was introduced in July 2018 after the community challenge: Put Monvision's House Back Together. It used to be a Global creature, available in all areas.
Its word count was decreased from 200 to 150 in October 2024, with the timer decreasing from 45 to 12 minutes. In addition, its XP and drops were altered.
Lore[]
New Lore[]
I learnt that Awa was magically created to be universally available around the Valley (Monvoisin's heartfelt thank you and special reward in the July 2018 Untu Hunt). I saw it frolicking at the side of a small pond, chewing on wooden branches, rustling in the leaves, and carrying rope between its horns. It's a little tiny, so it can't carry much at a time, but it certainly tries. One came up close enough for me to pet it, and its has a rubbery skin neck up, and short blue fur everywhere else. It kind of reminds me of a ferret.
Historical Lore[]
Awa was created by Monvoisin during the July 2018 Untu Hunt as a special reward for rebuilding her home. This tiny monster is universally available around the valley, and due to its horns, it looks like Monvoisin drew inspiration for it from the tiny Xin.
From what we've learned in the short time it's been with us, the Awa enjoys chewing on wooden branches, rustling in leaves and carrying rope in between its horns. Its tiny size means it can't carry much at a time, but it tries.
