Bomboo was an alien creature available during the 2019 NaNo Meteoroid event. They came back for the Distorted Signals Expedition event.

One of the beings I met was Bomboo. The poor thing had eyes staring off into unseeable horrors, was holding a fire balloon in their right arm, and held a sticky, slobbery candy in their left arm. I held my hand in front of them, and they snapped to attention. Bomboo apparently looks after the four smaller beings on the ship, but with the crash, they have been stretched thin. As I watched, they took the candy and popped it in their mouth. Sucked on it. Popped it out again. "Four eyes can sometimes see four times as many problems."
