Caricaco is a creature found in the Floating City of Balance. It was part of the Festival of Oge Mai.
Its word count was decreased from 300 to 150 in mid May 2024, with the timer decreasing from 30 to 15 minutes. In addition, its XP and drops were altered.
Lore[]
Exploring the river area, I found a small creature, a Caricaco, inspecting washed up River Grass and other flotsam that had landed on the banks. It shook shiny rocks, then kept tossing them back. I guess it was dissatisfied with the offerings found above the water line because it walked back into the river and submerged itself. Creeping forward, I watched through clear water for a while, fascinated as it probed the bedrock. When something snapped at it, annoyed, the Caricaco ate it. This aggressive creature's not something I want stuck in my Water Mask when I'm in its territory!
