Note that this is exactly the same as the 2021 Season of Wandering quest: Bringing Villagers Together if you want to wait and double up.

In a state somewhere between succumbed and safe, infected Villagers are a huge risk for any community keeping them around. Dust Warriors are to move infected Villagers eastward, to a less inhabited area of the forest. I remember how hard it feels when it's your home and your community in trouble... I'll volunteer and take the place of a local.
