Grab immediately. Core Crystals are not to be shunned, and all you have to do is have this sit in your Questbook till you've found enough different Items in your inventory to fill it. (This usually doesn't take long, just following the main course of the game.)

To defeat an enemy as powerful as the dust you must discover as many new tools as you can. Have 30 unique items in your collection.
