Cool Creature Highlights (2/2) is a side quest in Mama Tree. It cannot be completed without access to the Guardian's Lair in the Forest Expedition area and access to the Dark Forest Outpost in the dust region.
It is the second quest in a three-part quest chain:

You got past the first part - congrats! No mean feat. Now you'll get a key for your chests, and the Dark Forest Leaves have to come from the Dust Region. Good luck with the Xyplos Ink, too (remember Sliv can get it for you more easily than Xyplos if you have enough Luck), and good luck fighting the Vezi and good luck remembering that Gobkeys are way back in the Forest Expedition in Guardian's Lair. Go forth and conquer!

Before I hunted for creatures of light and now I'm searching for dark creatures. Those gnarly greens, beautiful blues, and vigorous violets. Cool and cold colors remind me of midwinter days, snowball fights with other Dust Warriors, and of rocks hidden from the sun's glare; this is a perfect time to embrace darkness and see the blessings there as well.
