Copei is a monster that can be found in the Swamplands.
It was first available during the 2020 River Expedition. It was unlocked 10 million words into the global community challenge: Expedition through the Swamplands.

I heard an odd crunching noise, so of course, being in unknown territory, surrounded by new creatures, and on a rescue mission, I decided to go alone and check it out. It was a Copei, crunching on a small Ascre held in its tiny claws. By the pinkish drool drips, I'll hazard a guess that "fully Dusted" snacks taste delicious. (I'm curious, but there's no way I'm taste-testing that... also, I don't think this Copei is going to share). I wonder if eating Dust-infected creatures is how Copei's are becoming infected themselves–but that's a question more for Nabia and Etta.
