The Forest Expedition was an April 2019 event.
"Rather than introduce a foreign alien race to our Valley, which we rarely see again, we’re taking the opportunity of a special event to take a deeper dive into the new parts of the Valley. This will allow us to add depth to our world as we get to know it more closely, and most importantly, we’ll be able to create new characters, areas and monsters which can stick around once the event ends."

Wardrobe Rewards[]
Relics Tent[]
The Relics Tent was available in the Forward Base (Event Edition), where Expedition Tokens could be exchanged for wardrobe rewards. Many of these items had appeared in previous events, and several were additionally decorated with glowing Ardi Dust. New relics were added to the tent on April 26th, then again on May 3rd.
Token Store[]
This was located at the Forwards Base (Event Edition). It appeared on April 29th and stayed open until May 12th.
Variable Monster Appearances[]
This event introduced wearing or equipping certain items to make monsters visible. First, equipping the astrolabe made marionettes from previous Untu events appear. Then Nabia also told this campfire story:
See not through one eye, for the magic of the Ardi does not reveal itself at first. Travel to where this began. Carry with you the sound of the seas and you will begin to see.
This place makes the air become stale, move it back to life. A golden circle will help you see that magic is around us, always, and we choose what to see. Tell no tail of this journey here.
For a new beginning, first must come the end. But first, leave the eyes you came with behind. Drain the poison from your ears, let it gather like droplets for all to see. Have the power of the Ardi on you before fighting the body of Knowledge.
This means you had to wear the eye patch and equip the Accordion. If you traveled to Base Camp, Morchella would appear. Morchella dropped the monocle.
Next, you had to equip the Victorian Fan and wear the monocle (which Morchella dropped). If you traveled to Stone City, the Giant Ooze would appear. Giant Ooze dropped the Ooze Earrings.
Finally, you had to wear the Ooze Earrings (which the Giant Ooze Dropped), along with all the Ardi clothes available at the Relics Tent. You could not be wearing the monocle. If you traveled to the Guardian's Lair, the Hidden Guardian would appear.
Discover Your Own Monster[]
Dust Warriors were invited to submit their own monster designs, which later became available in the game.
