Furoxi are creatures available in Gansu Watering Hole, Riza Rivertown, and the Floating City of Balance. They were added to the game on March 6th 2019, along with Balance.

Furoxi was part of the Festival of Oge Mai and the River Festival.

As of April 2021, in order to battle Furoxi, Dust Warriors must have an Upgraded Steel Fishing Rod in their inventory. Battling the Furoxi does not remove the fishing rod from their inventory. Before April 2021, Furoxi required 1 Steel Fishing Rod, which was removed from the dust warrior's inventory at the start of the battle.

Its word count was decreased from 400 to 200 in mid March 2024, with the timer decreasing from 30 to 15 minutes. In addition, its XP and drops were altered.

Lore[]

I was fishing when I spotted the Furoxi, the two of them swimming around each other's personal bubble. Interesting creatures to study, Furoxi have a symbiotic relationship and even their name is a combination. The azure one is Oxi, and the jammy one is Furo. Furo's the protector, the tank, of the two. They block any attacks with their spikes as Oxi searches for food and special nutrients. Depending on temperatures, one, or both will be fertile, and seek another fish to mate with. Hatchlings come in batches of five, then, as juveniles, spread out to find their other half.
