Giocoso is a creature found in the Guardian's Lair. They are part of the Hunt for the Ancients, appearing after competing the Season of Jubilee quest: Proving Your Friendship.
When you first enter the Elder Library, the quest "Songs are Sung" will immediately be available. Unfortunately, this is a bug, and you cannot complete that quest until Giocoso unlocks at the end of the hunt main quest.

There are always sounds in the forests, no matter if I'm in Luciola or Mama Tree, and I thought I knew them all. I hesitated to name the creator of the singing I was hearing though... not the rhythm of Forest beings, nor the whistling of Pesters (and thankfully nothing to do with Mawt sounds). I found the source balancing on their bushy tail, waving a green leaf around as they sang about fighting Dust and bringing communities together. I wonder if this little Forest gnome is a companion of the Bard? It that's true, are more in other areas?
