Gomphus is a Pirate Untu monster that first appeared during the 2017 Untu Hideout event and the April Camp 2018 event. They are now available in the Shrine of Ages with the Untu Pirates Bracelet.

The true leaders of the Untu (for this part of their trials) are part of the Gomphus circle. They can be told apart from the rest of the crew by the stylish little white curls adorning their head, and the red plume in their tricorn, which everyone (except the Agaricus) knows trumps a mere captain hat. They all have a peg leg as a symbol of pride and past battles.
