Holding Our Past is a Hunt for the Ancients quest. It first appeared in the 2022 Season of Hope in late January. It can be picked up in the Elder Library after completing the first year of the hunt (by completing the Season of Jubilee quest: Proving Your Friendship. It is the first in a five-part quest chain:

I've never seen the Curator outside of the forest, but after mentioning it, they replied that the Purple Gate used to be surrounded by one. It was taken over so completely that only Dust, graves, and crystals remain, and the suit of armor was one of the final ones to be created. The hope was protection from Dust by Dust.
