She first appeared during the 2019 NaNo Meteoroid event. She returned during the 2020 Meteoroid Expedition.

The smell of food and spices was concentrated from one section, and that's where I found a being wearing a chef's hat and holding a pot containing a confused three-eyed thing. She introduced herself as Kovar, and waved a flipper in my direction. I asked what was in the pot, and she replied it was a friend of hers, someone who tested new foods for poisons, who critiqued the dishes served on the ship, and who helped create recipes. ""Food is for the body, mind, and soul. The best cuisine stimulates all three areas, and in turn rejuvenates the being."
