Kuay is a monster found in Mama Tree.
Kuay's word count used to be 400, and was decreased to 200 in early October 2023. In addition, their time was changed from 80 minutes to 15 minutes and their XP and drops were altered.

Fighting a Kuay today got me thinking. Many trees around here weren't Dust affected, so Kuay must have been saplings when they were infected. It doesn't happen that often to rooted things - some trees, like the Jacruor, seem to have an inner ability to repel Dust. Aeipers on the other hand, seem weak to Dust. They're super creepy at night too, their sap aglow (and sometimes my only warning). Small in statue, they're pretty dangerous. Branches shoot out and cocoon around their prey, then they squeeze. Hard. It's this same flexibility and strength that makes Kuay wood so valuable though...
