Kyiat can be battled in the Shrine of Ages with the Magic Bracelet. She is a NPC in Luciola Forest.
Kyiat is a member of the Shaman Guild. When first encountered, she's seen to be intense, snappy, and "looks as if she sucks on lemons daily," and treats everyone around her with the same amount of annoyance. In Mama Tree Suwö lets it slip that originally she was known as Ruitka of Rain, but that name and affiliation were taken from her when she studied Dust too deeply.

The first shaman that I met in the Valley was Kyiat, who was having a small spat with Tesven in Luciola Forest. I was a bit worried that all shamans afterwards would be like her; curt, cutting, and even a touch bitter. They aren't, thankfully, but I've heard that Kyiat has a good reason for why she presents herself with a spiky shell. She actually used to be a water shaman, but her name was stripped from her and she was cast aside when she studied Dust in an effort to protect others. "Do what's needed, no matter the consequences."

- She mentions that "the runes will taste of clan," when she translates the Dust runes, but it's unsure if she means that literally or figuratively.

Tesven - Kyiat replies "That old Pester has his ways," when it's mentioned it's a good thing the two of them have starting talking again.
Alia of Air - There seems to be a rivalry between the two as Kyiat is even more sarcastic when speaking of the "great" Mama Tree Shaman.
