The Loi is a creature that can be found in Three Points Crossing and the Dragon Lair. It is a Lombri variant.
It first appeared during the 2019 Desert Expedition event.
Loi's word count used to be 150, and was decreased to 80 in mid March 2024, with the timer decreasing from 25 to 5 minutes. In addition, its XP and drops were slightly altered.
Lore[]
When I first saw a Lombri, it was big enough to eat me, and I was warned they were venomous. The Lombri young, also known as Loi are twice as deadly since they don't hold back venom during a fight (unlike more cautious adults). I warily watched a Loi as it wriggled through the sand at the dig site, making very sure that the wind was blowing it's slightly bitter scent to me. Next to it lay halves of an empty shell, and, dare I say, its squeaks were kind of cute. I just hope it's not calling for kin.
