Love has infected the valley! There were so many love messages being sent that the Love Buhini was enlisted to carry all the letters.
The event ran from February 14th-23rd.
All the love monsters dropped Love Letters, which could be used at the token store for wardrobe items and reactions.
Love Festival Badge[]
All dust warriors who defeated any monster during the Love Festival received the Love Festival badge.

Quests[]
Dust Warriors can pick up these quests in the Global Quests area in any town. Cupid's Shot is hidden until you've met a participation requirement — this is not a bug!
| Objective | Reward | |
|---|---|---|
Love Overload[] |
|
Unlocks Cupid's Shot |
| Looking at all the love creatures flying, prowling, and jumping around the valley, I've decided to set myself a goal. Defeating one of each should be a nice way to warm my muscles up, get in the spirit of Love, and maybe even clear an area around so I can sit down and enjoy a treat. (As long as the Pesters don't drop roses on me.) | ||
Love Messenger[] |
|
Rose Leg Tattoo (wardrobe) |
| The Buhini has taken on the enormous role of being the Messenger of Love, but they're not looking where they're flying and they keep dropping letters everywhere. I'm going to defeat 10 of the little "Bulets" and show them that being cautious is better than being erratic. What's that saying—Oh yeah! A Wignow's rose doesn't grow in an hour. | ||
Sugar Rush[] |
|
Love Antlers (wardrobe) |
| There are a lot of Love Xin gathering in the valley and the smell of cupcakes is overwhelming. Another Dust Warrior and I were surprised at first since we were both enjoying different scents (mine was chocolate while theirs was mint), but we've made a decision. We're going to "relieve" 25 Xin of their cupcakes and enjoy the sugar rush! | ||
Cupid's Shot[]Unlocked after completing Love Overload |
|
Crossbow (wardrobe) |
| A symbol carved on a nearby Jacruor tree gave me a great idea. It's easy to defeat one of each love creature, so it's time to level up. I will defeat no less than three of each. This will almost be like a triathlon since I'll have challenges in the air, winding around trees, and stomping through the sands. Let's make each shot count! | ||

Tactics[]
- As always, tactics sections may include spoilers and speculation. Proceed with all due caution.
Dust Warriors who need to farm materials, rejoice! For this event, as well as the special event currency known this time as Love Letters, monsters are dropping regular materials like wood, rope, and (in the case of Love Rulo) various rocks.
According to the news article on February 14th, the four known quests are all that there will be. With optimal double-counting, 11,200 words (minus whatever amount from your ATK bonus) will suffice to complete all quests. To optimize, it would be prudent to prioritize the Love Overload quest.
- Update: As of February 16th, there is a fifth quest, Gratitude Journal - Love Festival Edition. However, this one requires only streak days and some forum posts, not additional story words. Also for this quest, note that the 44 streak days count from when the quest is picked up (so, you'll be carrying it for a while) and posting four times specifically in the current gratitude thread by April 15th as well as completing the quest qualifies you for a drawing for 150 crystals and a year's subscription time.
For completionists, purchasing all wardrobe items will require 250 Love Letters (i.e. 25,000 words, before ATK bonuses; however, at least 30 Love Letters, the equivalent of 3,000 words, are available as quest rewards) and 335 Core Crystals. Established Dust Warriors may already have some of them, reducing that total (possibly considerably); justanotherjen prepared the following list (8th post down in the thread) of wardrobe items' first appearances:
- 2017
- heart facepaint
- rose slippers
- rose crown
- 2017/2018 (?)
- rose hat
- 2018
- rose necklace
- love socks
- love dust hair
- Love Frizi hair
- love pants
- rose vest
- heart earrings
- love bracelet
- Love Frizi pet
- 2019
- Love antlers
The bracelet which costs 10 Love Letters may function as a Shrine of Ages wristband, suggesting that Love monsters will be moving to the Shrine at or sometime after the end of this event. However, it's worth acknowledging that this is a hotly contested topic, so counting on being able to finish late would not be prudent.
