Maikin is a creature found in the City of Light. It is unlocked after the City of Light main quest 3: Not So Peaceful Pond.

In the practice yard there area several stuffed training dummies with wooden swords and shields that collectively go by name Maikin. They're clearly styled after King Mai (I haven't asked, but I'm assuming the crown on its head is a giant clue, along with the cape). Scribbled on the shield is the phrase "No Mercy!", but I don't know if that's telling the Dust Warriors here to show no mercy or if it's a comment on King Mai's reign of rule. "Heartless," with a small arrow pointing to an X, can't really be applied to the warriors in the Resistance.
