Mormori is a monster that appeared as part of the River Festival. It also took part in Winter Wonderland 2022.
Lore[]
I've found the answer to the unasked question of where baby Puna grow up—in the underwater "forest" covering the back of a Mormori! In its grassy section, baby creatures (there's more than just Puna, I swear I saw at least three other species). Mormori is humongous. And when young creatures have grown big enough, they'll swim out to dangling bioluminescent whiskers and play, secure in the knowledge that this gentle giant won't hurt them and can shield them from Dust's effects for a bit longer. Due to their protective, nurturing essence Mormori is considered a sacred being among Raina.
