The Multiplayer Battle Room is not an area found on the map, but rather in the "Multiplayer" Tab, directly below the "Adventure" Tab on the sidebar. It does not have a Wilderness or Market page, but there are Lobby and Quest tabs. The Battle Room is home to Co-Op Monsters.
For more information about gameplay in this area, see Co-Op Battles.
Quests[]
The quests below list the minimum individual contribution of each player, by Difficulty level. Players can, of course, write more, and if other players in a group do so, another player might not write as many words before the battle finishes. In theory, the baseline individual word counts would not be affected by the number of players in the battle. However, there is a caveat. If one player is removed from a battle, either voluntarily or by force, the total word count for the monster will not change, nor will the timer, but the words they have contributed so far will vanish. The remaining players will see their required count in the tracker increase, because of this. So, for example, if one person leaves a 4 person battle, the remaining 3 people will have to write 4 people's worth of words in the remaining time. Because of factors like these, it is much harder to get an accurate idea of how many words Co-Op Battles will require, but the following numbers are rough minimums.
Quest | Objective | Reward | Approximate words needed (Individually) | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Writing Together, Write Now[] |
Win 2 Co-Op battles with a team size of 4 or higher Win 2 Co-Op battles with a medium difficulty or higher | Alphea Lovely Dress (wardrobe) | Varies | |
Like Alphea rising through the clouds, my teammates and I will rise to the challenge and attempt to defeat Co-Op monsters in groups of 4 or larger, with a difficulty of medium or higher twice. There's a benefit of fighting as a team in higher difficulties, not only do we help each other out, but we'll win more rewards because of the extra difficulty!
| ||||
Gather The Troops![] |
Win 1 Co-Op battle with a team size of 8 or higher | Akkoz Scarf (wardrobe) | Varies | |
The largest team size at the moment is 8 Dust Warriors fighting together and I want to test what that's like! Luckily, Nabia wants us to test that as well so she's convinced Tailor Marai to craft a wearable scarf that mimics Akkoz. Time to gather the troops and see what we can do!
| ||||
Learning To Fight As A Team[] |
Win 10 Co-Op battles with an easy difficulty or higher x4 Akkoz | Akkoz Mouth (wardrobe) |
Easy: 800
| |
A new Co-Op monster has appeared! Fighting with a team is growing on me and with the Valley more unified than ever Nabia is challenging Dust Warriors to keep honing their team fighting skills. A nice mix of defeating Akkoz and getting the hang of Co-Op battles and I'll be able to wear my very own Akkoz mouth around the Valley!
| ||||
An Extreme Challenge[] |
Win 10 Co-Op battles with an extreme difficulty or higher (There is no higher difficulty) |
Balbor's Rock Hands (wardrobe) | Varies | |
Now that I'm getting the hang of Co-Op Battles I've been challenged to see how far I can push myself and a slow moving monster like Balbor might be the best way to test out an extreme difficulty. If successful I'll have my own set of Balbor arms crafted for me!
| ||||
Landslide[] |
x8 Balbor | Balbor's Mouth (wardrobe) |
Easy: 4,000
| |
Balbor is here and their rock arms are flying around the Valley announcing its arrival. This large Co-Op monster moves a little slower than most but don't underestimate it or you might get caught by the whirling debris. 8 Balbor defeated and I'll have my very own rocky mouth to scare monsters off with when I smile.
| ||||
Towering Top Of Trees[] |
x4 Crossnaw | Crossnaw Hands (wardrobe) |
Easy: 3,000
| |
Defeating 4 Crossnaw is the mission. Finding them will be easy as since their large bodies stretch high above the tree tops. My guess is it's be best to draw it away from the trees that it's using as throwing ammunition. At the same time my team and I can't get too close or the acid that drips from its shell might fall on us. It'll take some practice to get the hang of defeating Crossnaw, best to start now!
| ||||
Teams of Three[] |
Win 10 Co-Op battles with a team size of 3 or higher | Crossnaw Armor (wardrobe) | Varies | |
A giant crab that goes by the name of Crossnaw has been spotted on the beaches of the great river and with its size it'll take more than a single Dust Warrior to defeat it. Luckily, Dust Warriors are forming groups to bring these giant monsters down. Time to find a team to go into battle with!
| ||||
Crossnaw Totem[] |
x1 Crossnaw Win 1 Co-Op battle with a hard difficulty or higher | x10 Hardwood x50 Coins | Crossnaw Totem (House Item) |
Easy: 750
|
Some say that Crossnaw's are good luck and mean a bountiful river for the next season, but it's hard for me to see that when they drip acid wherever they go. But if we are to defeat the purple Dust any luck we can get is welcomed and I'll do my part by building my own Crossnaw totem!
| ||||
The Many Into One[] |
x4 Lótsachu | Lótsachu Tail (wardrobe) |
Easy: 4,000
| |
From the depths of the Dark Forest a giant monstrosity has emerged to challenge groups of Dust Warriors in battle. At first it was hard to believe that hundreds, maybe even thousands, of Chus joined into a single being that fought as one. But this idea was easily confirmed when the defeated Lótsachu separated into the many. I'm not sure what's better, a single gigantic Lótsachu or hundreds of tiny Chus.
| ||||
My Lótsachu Couch[] |
x1 Lótsachu Win 1 Co-Op battle with a hard difficulty or higher x10 Rat Tail | x15 Fur x20 Raw Fabric | Lótsachu Couch (House Item) |
Easy: 1,000
|
After a hard days work fighting monsters and keeping the Valley safe there is nothing better than laying down on a fluffy couch and taking a nap. If I'm able to defeat a Lótsachu and deliver some items I'll have my very own Lótsachu couch to rest on. Luckily this one doesn't fall apart into hundreds of tiny Chu when I put some weight on it.
| ||||
Team Warrior[] |
Win 44 Co-Op battles with an easy difficulty or higher | Lótsachu Mouth (wardrobe) | Varies | |
I'm starting to get the hang of Co-Op battles and getting into a groove of fighting along side other Dust Warriors. There is something in knowing that I have team mates who will help me out when I need it and I can do the same for them. It's an opportunity to connect and form a relationship with other warriors on this path. I'll keep my training going and aim to win at least 44 Co-Op battles!
| ||||
Teams of Six[] |
Win 6 Co-Op battles with a team size of 6 or higher | Luria's Dress (wardrobe) | Varies | |
A Firey Distraction[] |
x10 Luria | Luria's Hands (wardrobe) |
Easy: 12,500
| |
Those with experience say that Luria's hands are nothing but an illusion created as a distraction. While the focus is on the moving hands Luria's chains wrap around the opponents binding them in place so that the fire can consume them. If my team and I are able to defeat 10 Lurias I'll earn my own set of Luria's hands that will help me distract my opponents.
| ||||
Night Light[]Repeatable: reappears 24 hours after turning in. |
x1 Luria x1 Balbor Win 1 Co-Op battle with a hard difficulty or higher | x10 Refined Dust x15 Stone x50 Lightened Dust | Luria Invocation Altar (House Item) |
Easy: 1,750
|
Stone masons in Three Points Crossing have created a replica of Luria's Altar that is harmless when combined with core pieces of Balbor. It's safe enough to have in my home and it might even help keep infected creatures away at night. All I need is to defeat Luria to get an eye from the altar (the one part stone masons can't replicate) and deliver the materials.
| ||||
Sun's Light[]Repeatable: reappears 24 hours after turning in. |
x1 Luria x1 Balbor x5 Stone | x10 Sandstone x5 Gold x10 Steel Chains | Balbor Sundial (House Item) |
Easy: 1,750
|
Stone masons in Three Points Crossing are making Sun Dials that don't degrade in the dusty exterior. They're able to combine Balbor's core with Luria's steel chains to make them. If a Dust Warrior is able to defeat both, and deliver the materials, they are happy to make one as they test creating new Dust resistant materials.
| ||||
Strength In Numbers[] |
Win 4 Co-Op battles with a team size of 8 or higher | Imeus Arms (wardrobe) | Varies | |
Nabia wants to see how far the new Co-Op creatures can be pushed and to do that she needs groups of 8 Dust Warriors fighting them. The new Imeus monster drops parts of its body as it is defeated, so Nabia will reward any Dust Warrior that defeats 4 Co-Op monsters in a group of 8 their own set of Imeus arms! A sign of the power that comes from joining arms with fellow Dust Warriors.
| ||||
Electrifying Energy (1/2)[] |
x10 Imeus | Imeus Legs (wardrobe) |
Easy: 8,000
| |
Powered by the same force as Stempos, the Imeus' body can mold itself to a larger or smaller size, depending on how many Dust Warriors it's fighting. This makes the Imeus' body parts extremely valuable as they not only provide a rich source of raw materials, but they are also easy to turn into wardrobe pieces that fit different Dust Warriors, while also protecting them from the Dust. I'll do my part in providing the Valley with these materials by defeating 10 Imeus, and in the process, earn my own Imeus Legs!
| ||||
Electrifying Energy (2/2)[] |
x100 Imeus | Imeus Headdress (wardrobe) |
Easy: 80,000
| |
The Imeus Headdress is crafted to honor great warriors that have defeated at least 100 Imeus in battle. When an Imeus is defeated it drops tiny shards of its head crystal. These shards need to be gathered and stored in pure River Water before they are reabsorbed by the spirit of the Imeus. The crystal shards are then forged together into a single piece in the Gansu Flame by Stempo crafters - a tradition that has been passed down verbally from generation to generation. The locals say that this is how they keep the Imeus' power at bay, they take the broken crystals and forge them into something new, dispersing their power further and further so that they great Imeus may never realize its full strength.
| ||||
Powered On[] |
x100 E-Rus | E-Rus Helmet (wardrobe) 25 Core Crystals |
Easy: 44,400
| |
Like most monsters, the E-Rus will expend all of its energy in battle, fighting to be victorious. But in some cases, a few Crystals with energy can still be gathered from a defeated E-Rus. These rare energy filled Crystals are encrusted into a steel helmet to craft the E-Rus Helmet, a rare sight in the Valley. This helmet not only grants the wearer more energy in battle, but it's bolts of light energy will also scare away tiny monsters that get too close.
| ||||
Extreme Excellence[] |
Win 100 Co-Op battles with an extreme difficulty or higher (There is no higher difficulty) |
E-Rus Cape (wardrobe) | Varies | |
For the most extreme of Dust Warriors, those who fight at the highest difficulty, an energy powered cape molded after the E-Rus has been created to honor you. The cape was made to mimic an E-Rus' walk and in doing so, to put fear into smaller monsters, that the sharpened steel creation is close by. This badge of honor will be recognized by monsters and Dust Warriors throughout the Valley. There, where the light cracks and bolts, there walks en extreme Dust Warrior!
| ||||
A Lurid Purple[] |
x1 Luria x5 Purple Crystal Shards x5 Purple Parchment | X5 Dried Pulp X5 Dark Forest Leaves | Leafy Lamp (House Item) |
Easy: 1,250
|
I don't feel that summoning Luria in the normal way is something I'll ever do, but I might be able to throw other things on the fire that can create the ashes... I'll start with Dust, Refined Dust, and absolutely some purple things from the Dark Forest Outpost. After all that though, I'm not sure what else I can add...
| ||||
Rats, More Purple![] |
x1 Lótsachu x5 Chu | x5 Pakkan x5 Takori | Leafy Boots (Wardrobe) |
Easy: 6,000
|
Is Dust purple in other places? Or does it change depending on the creatures, monsters, and beings it finds there? I really can't see purple Dust on a planet that's mostly purple already... I got distracted from the rats coming to fight me! I can see they've been nibbling on mushrooms, could that be what attracted this rat king here?
| ||||
Station Quest Raising[] |
x1 Goldaem x1 Parper x1 Lasala x1 Strewog x1 Ousova x1 Pannith x1 Caroen x1 Yusi x1 Kofui | x1 Niavaf x1 Kazell x1 Rozell x1 Wizell x1 Nuzell x1 Rakna x1 Kultalva x1 Piki x1 Alpha Tambo Win 7 Co-Op battles with an easy difficulty or higher | Lasala Visor (Wardrobe) |
Varies |
It's nice seeing the station again, and with so many people in the area it's almost as if there's a station raising festival again. It'll be nice to join a few groups and challenge monsters as part of a team. I'm not lonely when I'm working on my own, but a change of pace is usually something fun to try.
| ||||
Middling Middles & Mediums[]Repeatable |
x10 Goldaem Win 10 Co-Op battles with a medium difficulty or higher | Goldaem Wings (wardrobe) 1x Leafsung Ink 100x Coins | Varies | |
I found a new quest in the co-op section, one that calls for monsters at a medium difficulty to be challenged when part of a group and a small group of Goldaem from Mama Tree's Station Raising Expedition area I can take on my own. This sounds like fun, and I can't wait to see who's gathering together and which monster they're going to attempt taking down. I wonder if anyone will try monsters with the higher word counts?
| ||||
Group Tutoring Sessions[] |
10x Headmaster Amidala | 2x Freeze Potion | Easy: 5,000 Medium: 7,000 | |
Headmaster Amidala is, once again I'm told, holding tutoring sessions for groups and allowing the people who show up to set the topics. Even if I don't think I need tutoring, it won't be such a bad thing to get some extra study time in. And hearing a fact taught in a different way may make it easier to remember!
| ||||
Head of the Class[] |
15x Headmaster Amidala | Headmaster Amidala's Head (Wardrobe) | Easy: 7,500 Medium: 10,500 | |
The head of Aurilis Academy has decided to test groups of students in a co-op battle, and I have to admit, I'm nervous about going up against someone as powerful as her! Thankfully I have friends at my back and I know we'll be able to come out on top! I mean, it's a teaching moment, not an overpower moment.
| ||||
Experts in Exams[] |
Win 5 Co-Op battles with a extreme difficulty or higher | Headmaster Amidala's Clock Necklace (Wardrobe) | Varies | |
With all the classes I've been taking, I forgot that there is going to be an exam held as a group event! We'll need to defeat any high level monster five times with friends (new or old), and even better, some of us will be able to use this testing time as a way to progress on our own projects!
| ||||
Merry Medium Monsters[]Repeatable: 12 hours |
Win 10 Co-Op battles with a medium difficulty or higher | 1x Cursed Bookcase (House Item) | Varies | |
There's always more to learn, more to do, and here with my friends, more co-op monsters to fight. Today is a free day, and many of us are doing extra credit for our classes, which means that we're looking for an array of different creatures to fight. Anything Medium or higher should be enough of a challenge for us today.
| ||||
Giant Master of Fluff[]Repeatable |
4x Knuffle | 10x Wood 5x Stardust | 1x Knuff Music Box (House Item) | Easy: 3,996 Medium: 5,592 |
I'm enjoying studying alongside other Dust Warriors and in the warm embrace of the Knuffle's fur I seem to get my best work done. Something about fighting for my life helps me to memorize Professor's Perrene's exact Blast Potion recipe measurements. Other students call this way of studying cramming, I call it yawn-mming.
| ||||
Study Group Success![] |
10x Knuffle Win 10 Co-Op battles with a hard difficulty or higher | Knuffle Tail (Wardrobe Item) | Varies | |
The best thing for study groups? Being comfortable. And in Aurilis? The best way to be comfortable is to study with a Knuffle. Those monsters are huge, insanely comfortable to lay against, and they're happily chilling like that for hours. I think I'm going to find one, bring all my homework, and make sure to jump ahead in my work.
| ||||
Fighting the Fluff[] |
15x Knuffle Win 5 Co-Op battles with a medium difficulty or higher | Knuffle Ears (Wardrobe Item) | Varies | |
Knuffs have a particular magic all their own, and I've noticed that Knuffle, a much bigger, fluffier version, has stronger magic. For example, Knuff naps on books; Knuffle somehow pulls itself into a book to nap in the setting. This is a little over my head, but I think the spells combine Thread Magic and Void Magic, at the least.
| ||||
Fight At The Oasis[]Repeatable |
5x Akkoz | 5x Balbor | 10x Leaves 10x Raw Fabric | Varies |
Right on the border of where the forest ends and the desert begins, is a small oasis. Large numbers of Akkoz and Balbors are fighting for who the territory belongs to, causing damage to local property and threatening travelers between Mama Tree and Three Points. A group of Dust Warriors and I are coming together to defeat the trouble makers and farm vital materials while we do so.
| ||||
Protecting The Water Towns[]Repeatable |
5x Crossnaw | 2x Lótsachu | 10x River Water 10x Dark Forest Leaves | Varies |
Lótsachu are moving south from the Dark Forest and into the territory of the water dwelling Crossnaw's. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem for Dust Warriors, but with the water towns growing in size these territorial battles are threatening local homesteads. I'm joining forces with other Dust Warriors to help the water towns keep control of their land.
| ||||
Ripping Time Apart[]Repeatable |
4x Imeus | 2x Luria | 10x Lightened Dust 10x Glass Shards | Varies |
A new quest, or is an old quest that keeps repeating, has been posted by Motes from the Shrine of Ages. Imeus and Luria have been caught in a time warp and the energy they are putting out is threatening to rip apart the Shrine. Motes isn't sure who began this time warp, whether Luria created a portal into Imeus' space or if Imeus broke into Luria's study, and some questions are best left unanswered. He's just sure this needs to stop and needs the help of a group of Dust Warriors to put an end to this. Again.
