Nabia is an Elder researcher and apprentice, first introduced in the April 2019 Forest Expedition event. She is Elder Bavata's apprentice. Nabia is also known as Expedition Leader Nabia.
Nabia is Etta's fiancée, having met her during the July 2019 Desert Expedition event and grown close to Etta whilst helping her to adjust to Etta's future (Nabia's - and our - present). Nabia proposed to Etta during Pride 2022 and they were married during Love Festival 2023.
As of March 2022, Nabia could be battled in the Shrine of Ages using the Leaders Time Bracelet.

Nabia is a curious and energetic young woman, currently an apprentice to Elder Bavata and trying to find the best way she can help the denizens in the Oge-Mai Valley. Past adventures include helping to build the Lighthouse in the forest area, traveling backwards through time in the desert Ruins, rescuing Raina elders during a River Festival, and working closely with Etta to make knowledge available to every Dust Warrior who wants it. She and Etta have a complementary relationship and it's rare to see one without the other nearby. Her quote would be: "We're here to do our best!"

Nabia's Corner[]
After the completion of the July 2019 Desert Expedition event, the 4thewords team created a page called Nabia's Corner, a place to catch up with current events, see what's happening around the site, and get the details with the blog. Before the redesign, it was accessible through the Pages option on the Forum navigation bar. It contained Nabia's journal entries regarding 4thewords events and updates.
The page no longer exists.
Relationship with Etta[]
During Love Festival 2020, Nabia received a letter from Etta asking her on a date. This appears to have been the beginning of their relationship. Nabia responded, and both letters can be found in the news report from February 21st, 2020.
During Pride 2022, Nabia sent a letter to Etta, asking if she would marry her, and requesting that she meets her at the top of Raising Station if her answer is yes (news report from June 10th, 2022). Bavata's letter to the community towards the end of the event mentions her assistant (Nabia) and her fiancée, revealing the relationship's progression (news report from June 17th, 2022).
During Love Festival 2023, Nabia and Etta were married, with the event themed around the occasion.
