I mentioned I like Sapi-beasts, right? But at this point in the game, I personally have hundreds of Vine Nets and can spare a few. They might be pricier to you. Bear in mind that the Vine Nets tend to be easiest to get from Mama Tree Wooden Chests.
Vine Nets can be crafted in Mama Tree at Alia of Air. They can also be found in Wooden Chests in Mama Tree.

These Sapiemon are seriously making me want to go back to the comfort of Mama Tree. When we get anywhere near the entrance, they come out of nowhere, fouling our supplies with those fruits. We need is a distraction! Something to keep them occupied as we enter the Stone City.
