Ofefof is a monster that can be found in the Caretaker's Garden Expedition Area after completing the quest By the Roots! (1/2).
It first appeared as part of the Caretaker's Garden Event.
Lore[]
Ofefof's beak is the perfect size and shape to nip mushrooms from their stalks, even though those aren't a large part of its daily diet. Once every moon cycle, Ofefof loves to take a break from eating grains to feast on mushrooms. As they grow older, this supplemental diet of brightly colored fungi makes their feathers take on the same bright colors. I've seen that some prefer selecting specific colors to use as camouflage, allowing them to defeat rivals and hide from predators. Before Dust came, there were rumors that Ofefof could live to be over a hundred years old.

During the Caretaker's Garden Event, Ofefof also dropped Rescued Seeds and Hunter Token, and did not drop Dark Forest Leaves or Cave Mushrooms.
