Patliadu is a creature found in Riza Rivertown. It requires a Harpoon, which is removed from the inventory.
It was featured during the Festival of Oge Mai.
Its word count was decreased from 750 to 400 in mid May 2024, with the timer decreasing from 120 to 30 minutes. In addition, its XP and drops were altered.

What's unseen, has sharp teeth, and bit me as I went swimming? A Patliadu apparently, the main source of meat for the water tribes nearby. Vine Nets and Nets don't work against them; I saw serrated teeth shred through one in the blink of an eye, so it looks like I'm going to need Harpoons to defend myself from this giant flesh-eating fish. Good news is that they're bound to the water. Bad news is that they're susceptible to Dust and are even more violent when infected. Their muddy green skin, perfect camouflage in the river, doesn't help me either.
