Pester

Pester is a creature available in Luciola Forest.

The Pester's word count used to be 500, and was decreased to 250 in early October 2023, and the time was similarly decreased from 50 to 25 minutes. In addition, their XP and drops were slightly altered.

The Pester is definitely an herbivore. I spotted one climbing down a Kaceipok tree, pale green leaves being carried in its mouth. About a third of the way down, it jumped, gracefully falling to the forest floor and sauntering off with its prize. Another one came by and smiled at me, revealing a small hole in one of its front teeth. When I knelt to peer closer, it whistled in alarm, creating a chorus of blasts and shrill noises that sent me reeling back, falling into a muddy puddle. The gray mud looked like the Pester's fur pattern, oddly enough.

Historical Lore[]

Herbivores, these creatures feast on the highest leaves on mama tree. Apprentices spend their early years trying to get rid of this pest by any means necessary. The Pester's light body allow it to graciously fall to the ground, if it were to lose its grip on the tree bark.
