Protect the Body is a side quest in Gansu Watering Hole. It is available after completing the main quest in Gansu. It is the first quest in a three-part quest sequence:
- Protect the Body
- Protect the Mind
- Protect the Spirit

This is the "easier than Stone Collector" quest I was talking about: 50 Desert Stones for a Stone Chest and Stone Key. Do it! (Unless you really, really hate collecting Desert Stones and need to save what you have.)

We're here in Gansu, thinking of ways to better protect the previous water here, and one way just fell into my lap. Literally. Thanks to a Lorsa that flew into a tree instead of a Nest. Anyhow, the letter it dropped from Barliar in 3PC. He heard from the Guards that we wanted to help as much as we could, and he remembered a story his auntie told. Grinding up Desert Stones, and then scattering "good Dust," would help protect against "bad Dust." He said he thinks it's a way to protect the body a little bit more from infection.
