It first appeared during the 2019 Desert Expedition event.
As of April 2021, Ripos requires 3 Saliva Vials to battle.

Summer is hot and the desert is hotter, but neither of those options explained why I felt temperatures rise while sitting under limited shade. Looking around, I saw a Ripos sipping at a small spring of water, its claws clacking about once every few seconds. The sounds didn't keep me interested for long however. Watching a burning gold liquid swirl up and down it's stinger drew me into a semi-lucid state; then I saw smoke rising from the hole burnt into the ground, and decided to leave. Although... it might be magma instead of lava? Technically it was stored within...
