Searching South is a side quest in the Ruins. It is available when the ruins first open. It is a timed quest that must be competed in 2 hours from pick up.
It is one of four quests you must complete to unlock the Ruins quest: Tunnel Locked On, which unlocks the Shrine of Ages.

Great. Just great. I thought I was finally making some headway by heading south, but a cave in just blocked my tunnel off completely! Though... if I can manage clear these rocks away, I might be able to continue. That feeling has to be coming from some place in here.
