Several new creatures, reactions, and wardrobe items were introduced this year.
The TeaCo Festival celebrated Costa Rican independence, the coffee that makes them famous, and tea that couldn't be left out.
Since this year was also celebrating Tea, the usual phrase "Tico" was changed to the portmanteau "TeaCo." Returning monsters were renamed to reflect that.
Monsters dropped one Teaco Bouquet for about every 100 words.

- The Teaco Ardi was introduced, and dust warriors had to defeat 4,444 Teaco Ardi.

As always, tactics sections may contain spoilers and speculation. Proceed with all due caution.
To maximize double-counting battles, both Teaco Flowers and Teaco Colors would be started while completing Teaco Hunter 1 and carried through Teaco Hunter 2. So, three open questbook slots are needed for an optimized strategy.
Established Dust Warriors may already have the striped shirt from Teaco Hunter 1, but the white belted trousers seem to be a new item, as does the button-up in Teaco Hunter 2, making this quest sequence a must for wardrobe completionists as well as anyone whose avatar is into a less-frilly look.
Bestiary completionists short on time who were around last year will be pleased to note that Teaco Frizi, Teaco Wignow, and Teaco Xin are literally the previous Tico ___ creatures but slightly renamed, rather than being new creatures. Only Teaco Dandeleon and Teaco Kuldoro are new.
