The Centurion Challenge certainly packs a punch, wanting 100k words in 44 days. If my math is correct, that'll be a bit over 2k a day for the time period; exactly 2,272. That's also more than a novel usually is (with exceptions, of course), so if I'm able to complete this challenge, I might be able finish a whole book!

The largest, biggest challenge for the next 44 days is to write 250k words. It might be easier to think about the amount of words I would need to write daily, which would be a 5,682 words for a total of 44 days.... the adventure written, though, will surely be wandering up and down mountains (let alone a few hills).

Why does Postras keep flying around the invocation circle?

Smashing pumpkins takes on a new meaning when there are monsters and beings who frequently use the orange vegetable. The weird thing is that it sometimes helps them to have someone else break the hard rind; in the case of Ayodil, they take the opportunity to find a larger, better pumpkin to nom. As for Kalakun, it's a burning projectile!

The smallest monster appearing during autumn is also the best one to help set up some fun. I can't wait to explore!

A small cheeping sound led me to a russet feathered bird in a twiggy nest, and judging from how insistent Tika sounds, I think it might be hungry. The Terrarium has switched over to summer (shouldn't winter be after autumn?) and the days are certainly filled with sunshine. Exploring the rest of the season will be fun!

When the insects drone on, the sun doesn't stop shining down, and it's getting too hot to even think about doing anything, that's when a refreshing drink comes in handy, and there are no better drink creators than Dynka. Another switch, another season; we're now in spring! The breezes carry floral and citrus scents, and there are so many different flowers in bloom now, the ground is looking like a patterned carpet. A small, cuddly Orsor has woken up and I've seen it looking for food. Since it's still half-sleeping, it's not finding much, but I don't mind setting aside sometime to help. Besides, that'll let me explore the area and see what's flourishing during this terrarium season... I'm worried about Orsor rowing into those huge paws though. It'll be fine, right?

With food, Orsor has grown a lot more and now it's ready to scour the winter snows in search of, if I've guessed it, yet more food. It's amazing to see how much growth Maixi still has, but for now, we'll tackle the freezing cold winds together! This is normally a time when food is scarce, but we'll be okay.

Winter's a wonderful season for having snowball fights outside, playing in the snow drifts, and (if I'm honest) getting so cold outside that it's a treat to warm up inside. It's the final switch of the seasons and we're now in winter! The crispness of the air (and some rain clouds) lets snowflakes drift down, and they're sticking to the found! Since the snow doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon, that means there will be plenty of days to drink something hot outside... and secure some snowballs!

More than a few other Dust Warriors have sculpted snow forts and are hiding behind some huge snow drifts. I'm going to gather Meriqi and try to make sure I've got a good defense going for this winter. Halloween Party Monsters[]

This year's Halloween Party was combined with the November event. The Halloween monsters and their associated quests were available from October 28 to November 8, with a notable exception that Postras and Halloween Wignow were both added to the wilderness on October 31 at midnight UTC.
