Tritus is a monster available in the Swamplands.
It first appeared during the 2020 River Expedition. It was unlocked 6 million words into the global community challenge: Expedition through the Swamplands.

At first, I thought it was another dead log, one that had collected too much Dust, but that was before I saw moving roots. No, not just moving; dancing. They hypnotized a small bug, coaxing it to fly even closer, before a hidden root strangled it. And insects aren't the only creatures attracted by dancing vines and flickering purple lights, I saw that smaller animals had come to see what was happening as well. I should be too large to be on the menu for Tritus though. Something to remember is that everything is a part of the Valley's balance.
