Winter snowball reaction
The Winter Wonderland event, is an annual event revolving around the winter season. Taking place in December and early January every year, this festival has introduced a number of new monsters, wardrobe, and house items.
The event has always been global, though event monsters could not be found in the Caravan when it existed. Other than that exception, the monsters are found in all areas of the valley. As such, there is no singular expedition or event area which dust warriors must travel to. Winter monsters, quests, and stores can be found globally.

Markets[]

Qirab as ze appears running the Winter Markets
Winter Event Wardrobe items from all years can be found at Winter Wonderland Wardrobe, as well as by year on each festival page. In addition to their yearly pages, Winter Wonderland House Items contains a multi-year list.
Since 2021, Qirab has run the Winter Wonderland token and crystal markets. In 2021, ze also ran the mini-games. In 2022, ze was added to the Shrine as a fightable NPC.
Mini-Games[]

Winter Fair Ticket
In 2021, a new mini-game element was introduced. In addition to spending Winter Tokens at the token store, they could also be paid to play mini-games. These mini-games produced their own reward, Winter Fair Tickets, which could then be redeemed at the Ticket store.
The mini-games themselves included a memory game featuring monsters from the bestiary and an accuracy game where dust warriors threw snowballs at a bullseye.
The mini-games did not return in 2022, as the team focused on the recent site upgrade. However, the news indicated that they would return in 2023.
The mini-games indeed returned in 2023 for the November Aurilis Magic Academy Event, and remained for the Winter Wonderland event. However, their rewards, Aurilis Mini-Game Ticket, were not changed, making them useless for those who did not still have access to the Aurilis markets.
Monsters[]

Original appearance of Winter Xin
The Winter Wignow and Winter Frizi appeared in 2017, kicking off the event.
In 2018, the Winter Xin made its appearance in its original form.
The Winter Buhini was introduced to the line up in the 2020 event.
The Winter Nimbbit joined the group in 2021. In that year, the Winter Xin also transformed into its new appearance.
2022 saw another new addition, the Winter Cordu. In addition, Mormori, a creature introduced during the 2021 River Festival, was integrated halfway through the event. It remains to be seen whether Mormori will become a permanent part of Winter Wonderland.
In 2023, two new creatures were introduced: "A Winter Misul which has crossed the Aurilis Portal to join the celebration and a new Co-Op monster that has arrived from Winter's Island! Dust Warriors, meet Nikaji & Winter Misul!"
For 2024, we toasted in another new creature, Winter Kinguz: "This year we have one new event monster, Winter Kinguz from Aurilis Academy! He hasn’t said much, but he’s certainly ready to enter the new year fighting! (Or maybe he’s more than ready to finish off this year?) Either way, he’s got a lot of energy!"
In addition to their standard drops, each monster dropped special event items on occasion, including special event tokens in more recent years. Starting in 2021, all event creatures dropped hunt tokens, including Winter Event creatures. These tokens were phased out during 2023.
