Xuso is a creature available at the Base Camp.
It first appeared during the 2019 Forest Expedition event. It later returned when the forest expedition areas reopened permanently.

Deep in the Forest, my foot caught on something and I tripped, sneezing as I fell. Sprawled out nearby was a leafy plant, spewing a haze of pinkish dust. An Ardia, drawn in by the soothing fuchsia, flew into dust only to fall as I did. Sticky tendrils coiled around the paralyzed prey, pulling it closer to terrible purple teeth. I stumbled to my feet as it raised its food, but... that was it. Ardia might be a favorite treat, or they might be the flavor of the week; I didn’t stay to see if beings were on the menu.
