Yista is a monster found in the Underwater Foundations.
It first appeared during the River Festival.
Lore[]
Master of camouflage and spitter of ink is Yista. It's actually a fascinating creature to study at night, or at least in the pitch blackness of deep water—if the surroundings are dark enough a Dust Warrior will be able to see a little bit of internal fire. I'm not sure if it's a chemical reaction with the ink, or even if it's a reaction that creates the ink as a side effect, but either way it's amazing to look at. Unlike the Xyplos, which hoards it's ink, Yista will release it in a cloud in order to defend itself.
