Zaroen is a creature that can be found in the Caretaker's Garden Expedition Area after completing the quest By the Roots! (1/2).
It first appeared as part of the Caretaker's Garden Event.
Lore[]
Zaroen enjoys working for the Caretaker as a shroom collector. Their antenna lights up whenever there are spores new to them in the area, which makes each of them a walking, organized researcher (the Curator loves speaking with them)! They know shrooms that taste great, others that change tongue colors, and some that are only to be given by the enemy. Once a year, for a length of three weeks, Zareon won't be seen searching for shrooms at all. This time period is when they make the trek to Market, an opportunity to trade shrooms and learn about rare spores.
